The Tokyo Marui Cocking Gun M8000 is a great model. In particular, this model over 10 years old is a model that is easy to handle because the cocking and trigger pull are light. It's one of the best cocking guns.

However, there are problems with this model as well. The protrusion that prevents the take-down lever from coming off may break. This protrusion is part of the frame. And since this protrusion is so small, it is difficult to restore it, and even if it is restored, it may break again. The individual in the photo also has a broken projection.

As a result of thinking about how to repair it, we made the parts shown in the photo to prevent the lever from coming off. This part is machined from ABS. Adhesion was used to fix the parts to the frame.

Three pieces of 2mm thick ABS were stuck together and dried for 1 week. The parts carved from the finished material were glued to the frame and dried for another week.

There is no hindrance to the operation of the gun.

ABS is easy to process. With the cooperation of bonding, the bonding surfaces are almost integrated. It is a fun material to handle.
